Last One

We're almost getting to the end.  Tomorrow will be our last set of blocks in our basic science medical career.  I am both anxious and relieved at the prospect.  It will be nice to be done, but it was a little comforting to enjoy the status quo.  Now I'll have to finish up here, head home, and learn how to do things all over again.

I've started selling some of my stuff to new students.  A toaster here, a fan there.  It's slowly starting to work its way out of my apartment.  And with each sale, comes a little bit of advice and words of encouragement.  I know what it's like to come here and adjust to a nice life, both in lifestyle and work ethic.  I'm living proof it can be done if you're willing to put the time in and get it done.

Having no class will be nice.  Well, there will still be ICM, but at least my afternoons will be returned to their rightful spot, where they will be used for naps and lazy afternoons before studying.  I can't wait!

Next week is going to be busy and a lot fun.  I have blocks on Monday and then our first Comp on Friday.  There will be a lot of practice problems completed in the coming days.  But Friday will be the beginning of a very nice week.  I'm looking forward to my mini-vacation and a chance to relax in the middle of a hectic schedule.
