And so we begin 4th semester. With the previous September class graduated, I finally feel like the "seniors" on campus. Classes seem reasonable. I'm not exactly sure what to make of my classes just yet. Some people have said that there is too much free time and others thing that this is the busiest semester here. I guess one can't take too much advice from others and should focus on finding out for themselves.
Break was fantastic and short. My only gripe was not having enough time to make it down to LA. I guess I'll have to make it up next time. Other than that, it was rather productive. So much so, I was not able to spend enough time watching TV and playing video games. I had bought Left 4 Dead 2 and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare with plans to beat both campaigns, but I didn't have the time. I did get to play L4D2 with MB and HC, so all was not lost, but our playing time totaled about 5 hours. Sadly, I was partially at fault for cutting the LAN party short by crashing at 1am. I'm getting old.
The only part I didn't miss were the monstrous clouds of pollen. Allergies absolutely killed me when I got back. I'm gonna need to live near the ocean to avoid the dry, dusty climate of inland California.
