It has been a long time and a lot has happened, but let's see if I can put it all together.
The fiancee, her sister, and two cousins came down to SXM over the last week and half. It was the perfect mid-semester break and gave me a chance to spend time with them exploring the island. I found all sorts of new beaches and fun places to see. I'll be excited to have more guests and now I have the knowledge to be a good tour guide.
Some of the highlights include checking out the Westin pool, going to Bliss, making shrimp fried rice, and going zip-lining, finding Friar's Bay, and finding a great restaurant at Grand Case.
But after all of this, I have come back to reality. I still have 7 more weeks until this semester ends. Studying has been coming along. I also signed up for the bhangra dance for the talent show. It's only a 1 minute routine, but I also get the chance to meet more people and spend a little more time outside my apartment, which is always welcomed.
EDIT: I should note that the whole reason I picked the title was to reference the two days of gloomy weather we had, which I sadly forgot to write about last time. So here you go.
