I see that Patrick Elias was hurt in a game today. Under the Yahoo write-up, some idiot wrote: I hope he feels better because he's on my fantasy team!
A guy gets carried off on a stretcher and you're worried about your fantasy team? Sometimes I wonder whether people have any understanding of reality anymore.
And now on to me.
I made it to the BBQ today. We hung out and tossed the football around for about 30 minutes. The first thought I had as soon as I stepped onto the beach was how I should kick myself for not coming more often. The weather was awesome, with scattered clouds, which made it bearable to lounge for a little bit.
I made it back, but it has been raining on and off since I got back, so I studied on the couch. This might be the second time I've studied at home since I've been here. It felt a little odd, but I did get my work done.
I found a stream for the playoff games today, so I've been watching the Arizona/New Orleans game. I think I'm rooting for New Orleans. I guess I have a hard time supporting a division rival of the Niners. This will probably keep me entertained until I make it out to the gym and play basketball tonight. This time we've decided to invite only a couple people to play, since the pick-up crowd has been getting too big as of late. Plus, there are always a few characters who take pick-up too seriously, which takes the fun out of playing.
